* The property is situated within the Arrowsmith Groundwater Area proclaimed under the Rights in Water and Irrigation Act. * A licence must be obtained prior to commencing a bore or well. A licence when issued, would contain conditions including, but not limited to the following: (i) the amount of groundwater that can be pumped annually (ii) the pump rate (iii) the purpose for which the groundwater may be used (iv) the construction of the bore * If you intend constructing a bore or well, you must apply to the Water Corporation for a licence. As this process may take some time, you are advised to apply three months before the licence is required. * The issuing of well licences is not automatic, but subject to overall groundwater availability. * A licence will not be required if the groundwater is to be used for domestic purposes or stock watering only.
